This project comprises the development of a site of c.17.2 hectares located 6 kilometres from Dublin City Centre at the M1 interchange with Oscar Traynor Road, Coolock. The project will deliver 850 residential units, a neighbourhood centre comprising retail, commercial, hotel and leisure facilities, a crèche, a community centre and a large public park. HRA designed a spine wall of apartments to the northwest of the site as well as 6 apartment pavilions within the park-landscape. The spine-wall of 4-6 storeys is continuous to provide some acoustic protection to the park from the motorway beyond and it is itself protected by an acoustic berm landscaped as dense woodland. A car-park is built under the berm at ground floor level. Most apartments are double-aspect and enjoy multiple balconies or private garden space, many are triple aspect and all enjoy a view of the new park.
